Forest Hall – Castlemaine

Framed by majestic gums is a lovely 1867 house in a formal garden of two acres divided by hedges, Don’s stone walls, a parterred vegetable garden and shade house.

Groups of shrubs with eye-catching foliage, bearded irises and oriental poppies are important in November. The owner has worked on and loved this garden for forty years.
