Seven years ago, this steep corner block was nothing but bare earth.
Today it holds a home surrounded by a garden we’ve slowly shaped with care.
More than two hundred trees, shrubs, grasses, groundcovers, climbers and other plants fill the space, offering something lovely to notice in every direction.
The true highlight, though, is the stonework crafted by talented local stonemason, Kaya Storm. Large rocks settle naturally into the front garden, supporting the plants and lawn.
Out back, stone steps lead to a long dry creek bed, a calming stretch of rocks and river stones, creating a truly mesmerizing view.
Visitors should be aware that access is limited to individuals who are able to navigate the property.
Although a gentle stroll, the backyard of the property has a steep rise accessed via four steps.
The garden is split level and requires moving along stone paths, limited stone steps and walkways constructed with railway sleepers.
